Klopp’s decision to leave Fabinho out shocks fans

Jurgen Klopp has shocked many fans tonight in choosing Milner and Henderson ahead of Fabinho.

The Brazillian international arrived from Monaco in the summer and took some time to settle into the Premier League. Since this initial spell, Fabinho’s form has excelled and most Liverpool fans would have him first on their team sheet.

Henderson has been on great form recently, particularly impressing against Bayern in the first leg. Milner, on the other hand, has struggled to claim a place in the starting 11 and has recently only been used as a utility man. Fabinho is becoming a player most fans see as the back bone to this Liverpool side.

Other than Fabinho missing out, the starting line-up is as expected. Allison will start in goal with a back four of Alexander-Arnold, Matip,Van Dijk and Robertson in front of him. The midfield three are Henderson, Milner and Wijnaldum and the front three, as to be expected, are Mane, Salah and Firmino.

Liverpool are hoping to reach the quarter finals for a second season in a row. They go into the second leg against Bayern Munich with the tie level at 0-0.
